On April 9, 2003, Luke Montgomery gave permission for shows to be hosted at the Archive. By 2005, related sections include "Strangefolk", "Luke Patchen and Erik Glockler", "The Windfalls".
I have a cool taper who comes to my shows, and he wants to put the music on E-tree. Please allow him to do so! You already have a lot of my band Strangefolk's shows, and Patch of Eden is my solo music.
My taping policy is the same for both. Let it roll!
My website is patchofeden.com
Thanks etree.

Policy
http://www.patchofeden.com/taping.php
Note: This policy is subject to change at any time.
Audio recordings of Patch of Eden performances are allowed for private, non-commercial home use only. Any resale or use of these recordings for commercial gain is strictly prohibited. Below you will find some guidelines to help keep any problems from arising and will therefore allow us to continue to offer taping privileges to our fans. We also respect the venue's policies regarding taping. Some venues do not allow taping or allow it on a limited basis, please help us in keeping a good relationship with the venues by also respecting their policies.
Soundboard Recording -
Where possible, soundboard recordings are currently allowed at Patch of Eden performances. This policy can change at any time without warning. We reserve the right to deny soundboard access on either a permanent or show by show basis to any or all persons. Be prepared at all times to patch through audience sources. Access to the soundboard may also be restricted by available space, try to show up early to avoid any problems.
Some things to keep in mind
when recording soundboard -
We respect our sound engineers, we expect the same of our fans. Remember, the engineer is there to provide the highest quality of sound possible for ALL fans attending the performance, not to assist the tapers. Please be patient and wait for an opportunity when they are not busy to ask for assistance in obtaining a patch.
Audience Recording -
Audience recording is allowed in the designated area ONLY! For those venues that do not have a designated area please use common sense. Front of Board (FOB) recordings are not allowed. Mic stands block the view of both fans and sound engineers, the view from the soundboard to the stage must stay open. If you do set up front of board you will be asked to move your equipment. Refusal to move your gear may result in your removal from the performance, and it's hard to get a good tape from the parking lot. Anyone who asks you to move your equipment works for either the venue or Patch of Eden. They are only enforcing our policy, so please remember this if faced with this kind of situation. Don't shoot the messenger!
Photography -
Photography with flash not allowed without express permission. All other photography allowed.
Video -
Video recording is not allowed at Patch of Eden performances. If you are caught trying to video a performance you will be asked to surrender the tape and may be asked to leave the performance.
Loose Ends -
- No home recording decks will be allowed. Portable decks only.
- If you use duct (or any other kind of) tape please be sure to remove it before leaving. Tapers have a bad rap for leaving lots of trash behind, so please pick up after yourselves.
- Most venues do not offer a power source. If they do, by all means take advantage as it is much cleaner than using batteries. Be prepared, however, if they do not.
- MAKE GOOD TAPES!!
